Academic leads for Co-Production Seed Grants announced

WHRTN is pleased to announce the academic leads for the Co-Production Seed Grants.

These $40,000 grants for each of WHRTN’s nine priority areas will run for 6-months, allowing researchers and Consumer Advisors/Advocates to develop an application for the WHRTN Co-Production Grants which will commence in July 2023.

The academic leads for WHRTN’s nine priority areas are:

  • Preconception, pregnancy, postpartum and intrapartum health of women and babies - Prof Sue walker

  • Mental Health - A/Prof Jacqui Boyle

  • Reproductive Health - Prof Georgina Chambers

  • Healthy lifestyle, nutrition, physical activity and the prevention of obesity - Prof Helena Teede

  • Violence and abuse - Prof Deb Loxton

  • Indigenous health - Prof Aunty Kerrie Doyle

  • Sexual health - Prof Jannette Perz

  • Healthy Ageing – Prof Marion Eckert and Prof Martha Hickey

  • Chronic Disease and Preventative Health, including Cancer and Heart Disease – A/ Prof Jennifer Stone and A/Prof Sarah Zaman
