Mentoring essentials for career development
As part of our Workforce Development Program, EMCRs attended WHRTN's online, Mentoring essentials for career development mentoring event.
Successful mentoring requires planning, with specific skills, sensibilities, and structure from mentor and mentee. A good mentoring relationship can lead to an individual’s greater career success, including increased opportunity, and promotion. Organisations benefit through higher levels of engagement, retention, productivity and knowledge sharing between employees.
Professor Helena Teede and Ms Mariam Mousa discussed what the research shows on mentoring, and the essentials to kickstart your mentoring.
