Being awarded an Ideas Grant from the NHMRC can be a very tough challenge. This webinar will outline important tips and tricks to sell your Idea from EMCRs that have been awarded an Ideas Grant and from senior academics with high level research experience at the University of Queensland.

Prof Vicki Clifton, Mater Research-University of Queensland Amplify Fellow whose research expertise encompasses clinical trials and basic biology

Dr Megan Cross, manages the Pre-Award (Health) team in The University of Queensland’s Research Office, supporting grant submissions

Prof Karen Moritz, Associate Dean (Research) of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Queensland leads the developmental programming in disease research team in the Child Health Research Centre and the School of Biomedical Sciences

Dr Katrina Moss, registered psychologist who leads an Ideas Grant to design an Australian-first online support resource that will reduce the psychological impact on people going through IVF treatment

Dr Matilde Balbi, neuroscientist within the Queensland Brain Institute, The University of Queensland. Her research is supported by NHMRC (Ideas Grant), MND Australia Research and Brain Foundation

Dr Silvia Ciocchetta, Research Fellow at the University of Queensland, currently leading an innovative NHMRC Ideas Grant project focused on advancing the biosecurity of major arboviral and other vector-borne diseases
