Prof Cassandra Szoeke

Cassandra Szoeke brings together high level management and communication skills with scientific expertise. She is a practicing physician in internal medicine with subspecialisation in neurology. She is a Professor, Academic Clinician, Speaker and Author. She is lead of the Womens Healthy Ageing Program at the Monash Centre for Health Research and Translation.

Previously at the University of Melbourne for over 20 years with more than a decade as the Director of Healthy Ageing Program. She led the research program in Neurodegenerative Diseases, Mental Disorders and Brain Health at the Australian Commonwealth Science and Industry Organisation and then became a Clinical Consultant to CSIRO. She has significant experience in governance and formal training including being a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She has been Non executive director for the Western Health Service Network employed by the Victorian Minister for Health and in this role she was Chair of both the Quality & Safety and the Education & Research Board sub-committees.
